Day 01. Nairobi - Mount Kenya. Depart Nairobi at 08:00am for Nanyuki where you arrive around 11:30am to start sorting personal equipment for the mountain trekking. Then be driven to Sirimon park gate where you sign and start a 3 hours hike through the equatorial forest to the camp for overnight (3,300m). Packed lunch is served enroute. An easy trek in the afternoon to help acclimatization. Overnight Judmaier Camp (3300m).

Day 02. Mt Kenya. After breakfast hike up through Sirimon Track to Likii North Valley and camp overnight in this beautiful little valley below the subsidiary peaks of Teleki and Sendeyo, two ancient parasitic vents of the main peaks. (3990m).

Day 03. Mt Kenya. After breakfast trek out of the North Valley and into the Mackinders valley, one of the broadest valleys on the mountain, with many giant groundsels. Camp at the head of the Mackinders valley, just below the main peaks of Batian and Nelion (4,300m). Overnight at Shipton's camp.

Day 04. Mt Kenya. Predawn attempt to the third highest peak, Pt. Lenana (4985m) to be on top of the peak for the sunrise for good view of the peaks and environs. Four hours of walking to the summit. Then descend to Teleki Valley on the opposite side of the main peaks, to Mackinders Camp for breakfast and rest for an hour. Then proceed down to Met station for dinner and overnight. (3000m)

Day 05. Mt Kenya - Samburu. After breakfast descend through the forest to park gate. Drive down to Naro Moru from where you board your safari vehicle for transfer  to Samburu game reserve for afternoon game viewing. Accommodation at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 06. Samburu. Morning and afternoon game viewing the unusual reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra, gerenuk and the Somali ostrich, all of which are rare in other game parks. Accommodation at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 07. Samburu - Ol Pejeta. Morning game drive. After breakfast drive to Ol Pejeta conservancy. After lunch proceed for afternoon game viewing. Accommodation at Sweetwaters Serena Tented Camp. 

Day 08. Ol Pejeta - Nairobi. Morning game viewing drive. After breakfast drive back to Nairobi where you arrive in the early afternoon.
